About the project.
Karlskronason is a personal project where I´ve taken a traditional and iconic sewing called Blekingesömnad and redesigned it. The sewing is usually seen on your grandmother's kitchen walls or as a tablecloth. My idea is to revive this ancient icon and do something that even young people can imagine to have in their home. What I also want to do is to get into the pattern of the New Sweden , enriched with new cultures. Not by making a more multi-cultural design, but to spread it in the right channels and the right people. This is an ongoing project.
